Product description:

Silok®50 adopt the Silok companys latest micro-capsule emulsion technology,it makes greatly molecular weight silicone polymer emulsify nano-scale micro-emulsion,and maintains low viscosity and excellent stability when it is 80% solids concentration.

Product Application:

Silok®50 is the most typical application system is water-based paper varnish and water-based leather paint.It provides the coating with an excellent smooth feeling and anti-scratch and wear resistance. Its dispersion and resin miscibility is outstanding.Compared with DC-51, it does not extinction,and also not easy to produce defects,such as shrinkage and silicon spot.Meanwhile,it can also promote the leveling of the system.

Other water-borne coating system

Silok®50 almost is applicable to all sorts of water-based resin and water-based emulsion systems,such as water-based plastic paint, water-based metallic paint and printing slurry, it can provide outstanding silk slip feeling, anti-viscosity, abrasion and scratch resistance;provides the coating with  excellent mobility.

Application method:

 Silok®50 marproofing additive can be added in water-based paints during or after the manufacturing process;

 Ensure fully distributed evenly, typical addition of 0.5% -1.0%, You need to use water diluted to 20% solution before use, it can achieve the best distribution and miscibility of the system; however, the specific  dosage to each system is different,so it requires to determine by experiments.

Storage and transport:

Unopened stored at 38 degree,the shelf-life of the product from the date of production for 18 months.
